FUST Lab Co., Ltd has been nominated as Knowledge Service Industry Technology Development Project (Revolutionary Innovation R&D Design and Planning) by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology. 

The "Revolutionary Innovation R&D Design Planning Project" is a competitive project that involves designing new concepts, defining functionalities, and validating feasibility for products and services using innovative approaches, without being constrained by existing implementation methods. With its competitive nature, the project embarks on a journey of conceptual exploration and emboldened research, ultimately leading to a rewarding two-stage R&D process that celebrates the discovery of immense possibilities.


FUST Lab aims to develop a ‘location-based DDS (Drug Delivery System) utilizing nanobubble manufacturing technology’. We plan to collaborate with the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS), the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation, and Stanford University, USA for this innovative research. Together, we hope to explore and advance this cutting-edge technology.


The R&D project aims to develop a Location-Based Nano-Drug Delivery System utilizing ultrasound-assisted Nano emulsion manufacturing technology to create nanobubbles. The nanobubbles, manufactured with highly uniform sizes below 100nm, serve as a core for drug encapsulation. This technology enables enhanced drug targeting efficiency and side effect minimizations. Additionally, the use of bubble capsules opens up to the application of a wide range of drugs.


 The development of a "Location-based DDS (Drug Delivery System) using Nanobubble Manufacturing Technology" encompasses an additional feature that involves injecting a composite of drugs and magnetized substances into the nanobubbles. This enables highly efficient drug induction near the affected area. Moreover, real-time tracking is possible as the nanobubbles are getting delivered to the targeted region. Once the drug delivery is complete, bubble bursting will occur at an exact, precise location, thus, minimizing potential side effects and maximizing the efficiency of drugs through the delivery of specific drugs to specific target sites.
