FUST Lab won the Grand Prize at the '2024 Water Industry Startup Challenge,' hosted by the National Water Industry Cluster under the Ministry of Environment, with its Microbubble Ultrasonic Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) technology. The company aims to efficiently decompose highly toxic industrial wastewater, including perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) and pharmaceutical waste, using its circle-type focused ultrasonic equipment, CAVITOX. FUST Lab. plans to enter the European market with this technology before new regulations on perfluorinated compounds are enacted in 2026.
This award also grants FUST Lab additional benefits, including business commercialization funds, promotional opportunities, consulting, and support from related programs and follow-up projects under the Ministry of Environment.
