PFAS Degradation (Non-Incineration, No Ozone/H₂O₂)
PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) are representative environmental pollutants known as “forever chemicals” due to their high stability and resistance to degradation. Even in small quantities, they cause endocrine disruption, carcinogenicity, and infertility/sterility. They are heavily regulated in the US, Europe, and Japan, with stricter industrial discharge regulations anticipated.
Currently, PFAS lack treatment and degradation technologies. After filtration, they are all incinerated. Demand for new degradation technologies is rapidly increasing due to carbon emissions, air pollution, and high costs.
CAVITOX is an eco-friendly solution that differentiates itself from existing advanced oxidation processes (AOP) by not using ozone or hydrogen peroxide. Instead, it employs focused ultrasonic technology to break down the chains of toxic substances like PFAS, converting them from organic compounds to inorganic compounds. This eliminates the need for incineration or secondary treatment.
Completed degradation of over 11 different PFAS lengths in actual wastewater to non-detectable levels.
